Adjusting Handlebars on a Murray Phoenix Road Bike?
I'm wondering if I am able to adjust these handlebars and make them lower, though it doesn't seem like I'm able to. I know I need to take out the middle screw with an allen wrench, but from there I'm stuck...
Sorry for the non bike lingo, i'm quite new to the road bike experience.
Do not remove the bolt on the top of the stem. You want to loosen it about 3 turns and then tap it down to release the wedge that is holding the bar stem. Once it is loose adjust the stem and re tighten. If you remove the bolt you will loose the wedge on the bottom of the stem.
