what is the safer- mounted childs seat or pull along seat?
I'm new to all of this. So first of all, Do you know what each is called? And which one is safer? A seat for the child to ride in that is mounted to the bike? And whats better (front or back)? OR the little pull carraiges that the bike pulls that attatches to the back?? FYI: my daughter is 14months old.
I had the one that attaches to the bike itself, and was behind the adult seat. the old fashioned one i guess. It worked just fine. but my issue was balance. to get her safely strapped in and not tip the bike over before i got on. If someone helped it was fine. but by myself i had to be careful holding the bike.
I wanted a pull behind one. They are strapped in and closer to the ground. and pefectly safe. but they cost more. unless you can find one on craigslist.
